Agreed jrowa001, this album doesn't feel quite as epic as Illinois or Michigan, but it sure stands up to them. I love "A Good Man Is Hard To Find" as well as "The Transfiguration." If you're a Sufjan fan I would definitely pick this one up.

Nice review. You left off my personal favorite - "Size Too Small." This is Sufjan's best album. I love his other stuff (except Adz (why did he abandon everything I liked about him?) which I just couldn't get into), but albums like "Michigan" or "Illinois" don't speak to me or touch me like this one. Michigan comes close, then Illinois. I guess less is more.
