Oh nice I didn't realize he did Cave In too, yeah Heavy Pendulum sounded massive. Ballou rocks for sure plus he's in the most highly revered mxc band of all time so bonus points for that

If the list is "ETID, Greyhaven, Vein, END, Counterparts, FFAA, Better Lovers, Amity, etc." then plenty of those are absolutely absurdly quality albums (never checked out Vein, Counterparts, or Amity for full disclaimer, but the others are some of my favorites in the last 5 years)

And say less about Counterparts, band is absolutely goated. Couldn't recommend them more if I tried, Putney produced Eulogy, NLTL, and YNYA which are god tier albums.

@bubs Putney did Chasing Ghosts and LTOTM yes lol. He actually mixed and mastered Chasing Ghosts top to bottom in less than a week, which is beyond impressive considering how good it sounds.

Love Putney's production but I also maybe have a bigger cushion for what sounds like "good production" to me. Like maybe I'm completely deaf but come on is there THAT big of a difference between Errorzone (praised for high quality here) and TWIGTRY (bashed for shit quality here) sound-wise? I can tell there's differences but nothing has been unlistenable or "shit quality" lol
