Although it was consistently sonically beautiful, a lot of the songs sounded alike... upon first listen a 4 seems appropriate.

Well I love psychedelic music (space rock, psychedelic rock, psybient, psydub and a few more) but after the first listen I can say this album needs much time to grow on me.
Most songs sound very similar and I am not a fan of the robot voice.
But I like the weirdness, I think one day I will like this album more.
But for now I rather listen to the other psychedelic bands I love like Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Electric Orange, Colour Haze, Ufomammut, Oresund Space Collective, Shpongle, Entheogenic, Solar Fields, Slackbaba for example.
