I cannot imagine what dumbo universe I was in where this shit was boring cause these melodies don't lie
Chugs are a little proggers for me but like they're fun imo

Flourish, Advent, Oscillator, so many great cuts on here. In this dumb genre this one truly hit different! Based and Contortionist-pilled

You’re objectively silly if you don’t like it.

crazy how djent as a movement really peaked with this album, band single handedly leveled all competition

JUST BECAUSE THERE ARE TECHY CHUGS DOESNT MAKE THIS DJENT

well i suppose that might be true, but the shugg really are on a league of their own, but the impact this album had in the 2010 djent scene was a thing to behold
Spec: this album and apparition were pretty much djent, everything else moved pretty far away from it tho so i do agree

I consider this djent but I guess it's more prog-deathcore. What's the difference? Who knows. All I know it rules. Also mad respect for this band pulling an Opeth and just totally wandering into the wilderness pretty soon after this. Not all of it hit but it was brave and interesting
