ETID live was insanity. saw em once on a sidestage at Warped Tour that was on a parking lot so the pit was just on top of asphalt. lots of blood. this huge dude in front of us turned around to face the crowd with his stands cupped at his waste so we were like wtf? then out of nowhere this tiny lil dude sprints over to him, jumps up into said cupped hands, then gets absolutely fucking launched into the crowd. will never forget it

Was lucky enough to see these lads 5 times over the years. My biggest regret is missing their last tour and finding out they broke up almost immediately after.

Unfortunately, and I noticed this at the time too, the energy felt off during that last tour. I saw them in August of 2021 and November of 2021 and both shows felt weird. They were still damn good but you could really tell something was wrong.

My last time was Warped 2012 for Ex Lives which was sick. I was off core after then for quite a bit due to shifts in taste. Dumb cuz ETID was still dropping fire. Sad hearing the fall off could be felt :-/

One of the top five shows I ever saw was them playing a little dive bar up in Fort Collins. They had just finished Warped Tour and were frothing at the mouth for a small venue. They absolutely destroyed it lol.

They are responsible for by far the most memorable show I ever saw on an off-date for mayhem tour, Lawrence KS, just before the big dirty released. It was 100 degrees F outside and the AC had blown. Easily 115 inside, stagnant air. People were ditching their clothes in corners before the first band. Heavy Heavy Low Low stopped to strip down to their undies. JFAC crushed but it did not smell good in that room and we were all feeling pretty rough.



Queue ETID hitting the stage with No Son of Mine, which had been out for a week or two, and the crowd exploded. It was the grossest, most fun thing I've ever been a part of. Jordan in the middle of a song walked over to Keith, Andy and Ratboy and gave them a hug and a kiss, it was clear they were having a blast as well.



That was the third or fourth time I'd seen them, and I saw them some ten or eleven times after. In 2021 they absolutely crushed the ready room here in STL. The band walked out, Keith immediately stepped into the crowd and onto some shoulders, Floater hits and Jordan dives in...it was the best I'd ever seen them.



There is straight up nothing like ETID live. Nobody compares, not even TDEP. The closest thing was Unearth.

I think that's the thing that makes their break-up so brutal. It's clear that, at one point, the dudes LOVED each other so much. They loved the music, the fans, the art of live performance and to not be able to reconcile with each other not only tore a band apart but everything that band stood for.

I drove to Columbia and saw them at Rose Music Hall and that was absolutely the best show I’ve ever been to. 68 opened and killed it, got absolutely plastered during Wage War. Then ETID. Absolutely the most insane show I’ve been to. So yeah agreed, nobody can top an ETID live show.



Im sure Better Lovers will put on good show this Friday but its gonna be hard to top ETID

I'm realizing now all of my ETID sets were Warped shows except the tour with Trap Them in 2010 or 2011. They played a mid sized venue and had the whole room moshing. Also got to meet them after and they were so cool

On Twitter Jordan was basically saying "steal all our riffs because we aren't playing any of that shit ever again." So... I'm not hopeful on a reunion ever.

I am never discounting a reunion of any band in 2024. Money will always talk at the end of the day and crazier things have happened. If Danzig will rejoin the Misfits, anything is possible lol.
