Cedar Skeletons and Enduring The Snow Drought are flat-out amazing.

The Blue Against the White brings a frightening feeling of finality in its ending and oml is it lyrically equally beautiful and tragic

"If life was was ever lasting would we need it/is loss what we would choose/autumns beauty withers to grey/does that make it more desired?"

It's a masterpiece. Still don't know if I'd put it over the s/t but it's at least right there with it.

If he dropped S/T and dipped and never made another album, we'd remember it as an excellent addition to that style of BM, and maybe a cult classic sort of album.

Since then, he's developed into his own force in the genre and has released at least 4 albums that surpass S/T in ambition, execution, and originality.

I agree that his sound has developed ahrd. The rawness and ferocity of the s/t will always be special to me though. Not to mention it has my fav drumming ever on a bm album.

Hey man, not here to yuck your yum. Just disagree, but I get the "favorite over form" sort of deal. Got plenty of those

Hell yeah bro. Cut down my 5's from well over 100 to under 30 now and the s/t survived the cut. Has a special place in my heart lol.

S/t is best, no debate. That album really opened the door for USBM to really branch out!

@Hawks

You cut down your 5s that much and The Weeknd made the cut? That’s intriguing
