Sick show. I bet these guys are sick live, and Thou is amazing so...
This band is fun, but they are lacking something for me, maybe it's just not my genre because I got the same impression with Nails and Knoll.

I like this, but contrary to popular(?) opinion I miss the power noise elements and was hoping they'd come up with an evolution on that style, rather than an alternative development on their more hxc-orientated 'roots'.
There's certainly a touch of something different here, yet to me they mostly seem to be going for an old school FoH sound with minor twists that are unfortunately rather fleeting

@demon yeah tbh I fw the P/E elements on Garden, but I do feel it felt like a bit of a novelty, whereas the material here has a little more substance BECAUSE of the incorporated elements. I would’ve also liked to have seen where that experimentation went had they pursued it further though
And thanks Nex, appreciate it x

Thankfully this is getting some front page attention. Such an appreciated change of direction for their sound. Good evolutions here.

not as good as their early stuff, but still pretty solid

how early are we talking? and can we stack them up?

I honestly was never overly into the death metal influences they started focusing on after the Merzbow split. Wanted them to get better and more diverse in their weirdo grindcore approach after that point but they took it in a different direction. The early period seems to get overlooked these days. Rudiments of Mutilation is probably still their second best to me.
