An excellent surprise from a band that could very well be on par with Textures and many other bands in the modern progressive/djent movement. Combining experimental, ambient, and progressive elements into one, Absent Distance bring an album that is as ferocious as it is soothing. This is an excellent start for a promising band, and I can't wait to hear more! 9/10
