0.0 | JimmyTwoTimes | November 4th 09 | Although this album is a pleasant listen, I really prefer Mr. Irisarri's predecessor band, The Sight Below. Daydreaming does provide the manipulated guitar textures and looping found in most well-know ambient works, but the 2009 release of Glider, (Yes, it is in homage to the My Bloody Valentine E.P. 'Glider' for all you shoegazing faggots including myself) has a subtle and soothing 4/4 bass line that cascades with the current trend of early shoegaze, ambient electronic music, and Boards Of Canada-esque guitar sounds. For all you Radiohead wankers, Thom Yorke praised this album on his gay website Dead Air Space, posting 'At First Touch' to much critical acclaim. I would really like to hear 'Glider' and 'Daydreaming' on vinyl.

The electronic work here is beautiful in the most minimal way, all swells, tones that move like molasses and typically morose piano playing. As "A Glimpse" slowly fades into the nostalgic world of crackling vinyl, one should know what Daydreaming is all about.
