Review Summary: The album is honest and is to be digested calmly. History is real and can easily be understood by the same inhabitants of the unknown. Apparently, Knoos Angel seems to have decorated the abyss in which it is and, the search for the exit is of an uncertain

Knoos Angel recently released their debut EP, Foray, a minimalist and private work, highly recommended for lovers of experimental music.
FORAY is completely involved in the mantra of ambient sound, investing heavily in vocals echoed in almost every track.
The EP follows a chronology, each song tells a piece of a story, which is told from the fall of Angel in a solitary and somber place. Knoos reveals in his letters his experiences and feelings deeper, felt in its excursion to a territory of chaos.

Theme of the EP

Notoriously, the letters that compose the record, refer back there is a state of profound depression and melancholy. The protagonist of the tale seems to be in a constant war against the unknown and some marks and new sensations help him write a piece of a troubled moment of his life.
The whole album happens during a storm and, at the end of the last track, Still, you can hear birds singing, hinting at the end of it.
With all the concept of the material, the production of the EP follows the melancholic context and, basically, the sonority of the whole album is characterized by the alternative subgenres "Sadcore" and "Sadpop", known for the slow beats and depressive letters.

"You can not get out of my mind.
And every touch is like a million falls in the sky "- Rain

'Rain' is the album's first vocal track, successor to The Fall, which acts as an EP intro and the beginning of the storm.
An interesting information about the above is that, to give that sombre thematic air to the album, samples of a German exorcism were used, with the addition of 6 superimposed vocals.

Minimalist concept

'Thought' (I'd like to highlight it) is the album's most intimate track. It is possible to perceive every detail of the production. Knoos seems to 'dance with his voice' while the guitar and guitar run looping throughout the melody.
The production is light and makes you want to disconnect from anything that holds you to the material world, to embark for something more intense and real.

"I want to heal the pain in your eyes" - Sad Parts

In 'Sad Parts', 8th track, the singer's voice slowly deepens in the construction of the existentialist verses, accompanied by the serene melody, which reveals different tonalities in the development of the 2:58 seconds duration.

Poetic lyrics

It can be said that the record altogether possessed a literary, delicate and confessional tone, which fits wonderfully well with the unhurried voice of Knoos Angel. But some bands stand out for eminent poetry. Emphasis for those already mentioned, Thought, Sad Parts, Rain and Still.
