4.5 superb | flvnkie | April 4th 20 | more subdued, just as mysterious and intriguing. less in-your-face pop than the last two - it's the little details that suck you in this time. the music tells a beautiful story here; this is their best by far.

3.0 good | ajcollins15 | April 7th 20 | If you are a fan of Grimes then you might be a fan of this. The third record from the duo and its been five years, so how are they sounding. Well, for the most part, the exact same they have been sound. Is that a bad thing? No?but yes. There is a great feeling of lack of progress being presented here and I wish they explored a bit more in original soundscapes. Now, there are some heavy bangers in the tracklist and for the most part, I enjoy it. But, I just want more progress, more diversity, and better ideas here.

5.0 classic | Bro has djent in his pie | May 23rd 24 | WOMB shares qualities with artists like Grimes and other contemporary pop acts. The unique vocals are a major highlight of the group, though they may be polarizing due to their high-pitched nature. Personally, I love it. Purity Ring has managed to incorporate this sound in a way that sets them apart from others in a heavenly manner. This album is undoubtedly the band's most accomplished and cohesive work. The production is the most refined they have ever crafted. In their previous albums, the sound felt too varied, with some tracks incorporating break beats and bombastic EDM tropes. In WOMB, the beats are consistently interesting and incredibly smooth. It took me a while to get into some of the tracks, as I didn't initially find them catchy. However, the choruses eventually grew on me and now I can't get them out of my head. WOMB is a heavenly ethereal masterpiece and deserves to be recognized for its unparalleled beauty.

3.0 good | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | October 14th 20 | A fun pop album with little to no real staying power. Inoffensive and barely worth your time. Then again, sometimes you don't want to think too much about the music you're listening to and that's when this can come perfectly into play. It flies by quick, not enough time to bore or annoy, makes you go "huh cool" a few times and then snoozes itself out of existence.

3.5 great | SleepyJack | July 23rd 20 | As long as you skip the first track this is actually a very solid album. In keeping with their previous sound, but with a bit more polish. Compared to the debut it's more consistent and atmospheric, fewer stand-out bangers.

2.0 poor | Thatsuitisblacknot13 | May 28th 20 | It?s about 6 steps back. I would say the track list is devoid of any bangers. Very mellow. In fact it?s only mellow. The hooks don?t hit and it?s just lacking about everything I loved them for on shrines and most of another eternity. For lack of a better phrase it?s boring dookie garbage. I loved shrines but this disappointed me a ton.
