3.5 great | RickyLooser | February 8th 21 | Tonight I just explored this excellent album, it's a hidden gem. Yes there's no "Kyrie" or "Broken
Wings" but there are a lot of great songs with beautiful arrangements and the wonderful vocals of
Richard Page. It's a big change in style and approach. Only "Something Real" and "The Tube" remind
of the Synth-Pop of her number 1 record "Welcome to the Real World. The other songs go much
deeper, they are all brilliantly executed and with a certain understatement that just draws you
in, you can call it progressive pop if you like. Sometimes the sound reminds me of Peter Gabriel
(Kevin Killen, the Co-Producer served as an engineer with Peter Gabriel) or Mike & the Mechanics.
Absolute recommendation. Highlights: The Border; Control; Healing Waters; Dust
