Review Summary: A texture artist.
This was an excellent start for my day. Attempting to describe this album is difficult outside of saying there are glitchy, ambient beats. There are those, but they are beautifully syncopated rhythmic delights, and biting into them produces different, but equally interesting chocolate flavours. I did not want the album to end, and unfortunately, it did yet it felt like the producer was just getting started. Talent is readily displayed here like fireworks, as each track gives an intended vibe that is masterfully put together. Many moments arrived that were utterly surprising. It is no simple ambient project, and rather sounds like an orchestration for a movie using glitchwork. The atmosphere is thick in tracks, being downright spooky at times. The art is right on the money with its dystopian, sci-fi novel aesthetic. If you’re looking to listen to something completely different today, check this one. It has a sound that will suck you in. True, that is typical of ambient music, but the almost cyber sounds keep you on the edge of your seat. As a starter experience with this musician’s work… it hit.
