Agriculture made a full 180 to me from a decent immature black metal to perhaps the freshest air in the genre today. Sure, the spiritualisms of Liturgy are a little obvious, but Agriculture manage to take that, add a special sprinkle of upbeat positivism, streamline the rougher edges, and make it more accessible and, quite rare for the genre, infectious and fun. That said, there are two tracks in the four track run that are purely spoken word poetry. Your enjoyment of those will be solely dependent on how well you take to that kind of artistry. I found them a little silly at times, but they kept the themes going and were not jarring, so it did not sour the experience.
