I recently came across this site and as I became more familiar with it I noticed the "soundoff" section on the home page and this band just happened to be one of the few that were listed on it. You don't see many instrumental bands but these guys are definitely one to look forward to. They create an even balance of creativity to show their talent while keeping it simple without getting repetitive or boring.
I can understand if some people might think that this band is missing something because of the noticeably absent vocals. But the guitarist work so well together while the drums and bass keep everything solid and in the pocket that you don't really notice it. In fact, I would say you would prefer these songs without any vocals at all. It would take away the thing that makes them stand out so much. Instead of dissecting every song ,because that would take forever, to simply put it these guys are raw, heavy (not metal heavy but more hard rock heavy) and very creative. You can't compare them to a particular band because every song is so different. One will sound Pink Floydish while another sounds more Incubus. Then you have a song like Pretty Ugly that just throws everything off and makes you ask yourself "Is this the same band?" Every song feels so different from the other. They grab your attention from the beginning and kinda make you forget that you're listening to an instrumental band. And that's the main reason why I'm loving Arma Soul. After hearing this one I can't wait to hear more. If you're into Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta, Scale The Summit go listen to this band now.
