Very solid follow on from Pure, doesn't quite reach the same heights, but solos in Empathy and This Green and Pleasant Land are amazing. the much talked about 'rap' is more of rythmic speaking and works pretty well (if cheesy), and the majority of the songs are really well written. The last track is pretty redundant and sometimes songs feel like sections are tacked on the end (see This Green and Pleasant Land, Passion and Feeding Frenzy). Nick Barret's politics are a bit silly sometimes, and the faux angst on a couple of tracks doesn't quite come off but if you can get past that there's a lot to love here.
