Review Summary: Lil Wayne's attempt at saying sorry to his fans This mixtape came out a while ago, and it’s all the normal Lil Wayne you’d expect, but it has some faults. I will spare you the history lesson on Lil Wayne, but this mixtape was released after he left prison, and was about to release the Carter IV. Personally, I think it’s good that he released more music to listen to, and it’s something that other rappers should take notice of. Now, the downside to this is the quality vs. quantity debate.
There is a decent amount of songs on this mixtape, but that doesn’t mean that there all good. Most of the songs are remixes of other songs (even a remix of Rollin in the Deep), which could be a criticism to some. Personally, I found most of the remixes cool, especially Grove St. Party and Hands Up. Other songs seem pointless but just added to fill out the song list, and add some volume to the mixtape.
This is the same classic Lil Wayne rhymes that you would expect. The common messages behind his raps are as follows; smoking weed, ***in bitches, and smoking weed again. I have no problem with this, but others might find it repetitive and boring after a while. Something that I feel makes this mixtape not as good is the fact that all of the guest rappers suck. This is noticeable in the song Inkredible Remix. Some of the rappers in the song make you want to punch the guy singing in the face because they suck so much ass. That said, Weazy sounds good and makes the song bearable. The Instrumentals are cool, but nothing special.
Overall, this mixtape is good for a fan of Lil Wayne, but this isn’t going to bring new fans into his music. If you’re a fan of Lil Wayne, then you will enjoy this, but if you hate him, you will probably still hate him.

| | | Tips: try to put together a challenging work-out regiment. Alternate your area of focus between days. However you choose to go about furthering your physical prowess, take care to provide for yourself a healthy balance of upper-body/lower-body/cardio exercises. Otherwise your body will take on warped proportions. Once you have slipped into a routine and are comfortable with yourself once again, take to the internet and read the best articles on soul searching that you can find. In a worst-case scenario, you may consider taking a pilgrimage to Canterbury.

| | | Somebody's a Sour Susie. I assure you that, daily ennui aside, my life is no more meaningless than yours, at the very least. I had a conversation with a good friend just the other day on this very topic, that the world is infested with useless people. This doesn't make them bad, per se. Not at all. But sitting at home, smoking weed, and playing video games/listening to music/participating in solely self-gratifying acts doesn't serve to further anything except the self. And believe me, there comes a point where the self stagnates without external human influence. Cheers.
