Review Summary: Collection I is a completion of some of the Misfits biggest hits and one that fans should not miss.
The Misfits were formed in the 1977 by Danzig. Danzig wrote a bunch of songs for the band but they soon broke it, but Danzig recruted bassist Jerry Only. Soon they created one great punk band.
Misfits collection I is a great complition album, it contains some of there biggest hits and would a great cd to put in your collection. Danzig has a great way of writing. When Listing to the words of the music it becomes clear that Danzig was inspired by B-grade horror movies, Thats not a bad thing its rather good. Most of the songs on this album have memrible lines in them for example, the song " Teenagers from Mars." the chours is plain and simple saying " Teen agers form mars and we don't care teenagers from mars and we don't care." a few times and its catchy and one of the stand out tracks of the album. Danzigs ritting is the same threw out the album talking about ghouls and ghost and aliens and just horror in genreal. There is a bad thing about his ritting, it is the fact that he only rites a few lines of lyrics making the songs on the album last about a minute twenty.
The actual instriments themselves sound ok the guitar is often just noise and the drum keeps the same beat trhought alot of the songs. The instriments are played best on the song " London Duengeon". All comming togather on the album with Danzig voice it sounds prety good.
One of the best songs on the CD in my opinion would be "Bullet" a song about former President John F. Kennedys assassination and how Danzig wants Jackie Kennedy the lyrics themselves are kind of silly but with the the instriments and his voice togather they form a perfect combination and a great song. The songs Ghouls Nite Out, Where Eagles dare and Teenagers from mars are proabably the most catchy. All the songs on the ablum flow realy well and are all just great.
Overall the album is great complition of some of there best songs and if your a fan check this album out. If your trying to get into this band this album is a great start.
This is my first review if theres any thing wrong could you please let me know thank you.
