1.5 very poor | RatchetSly | February 5th 12 | Perhaps the dullest album I've listened to - I am aware that it IS trance, but each song rarely wavers from sounding exactly the same as the previous. There are a couple that might be worth a listen, but overall avoid this.

3.5 great | Iai EMERITUS | September 21st 11 | There are a couple of slightly weak points here (Binary Finary's "1998" is the biggest offender), but the good tracks are outstanding. Dream Traveler's "Time" and Three N One's remix of Energy 52's "Cafe Del Mar" are the pick of the bunch (you'll probably have heard the latter before, providing you've been within 50 feet of a club in the past 17 years), but there are cracking moments all over - Sasha's remix of GusGus' "Purple" is one of the most windswept dance tracks out there, Lost Tribe's "Gamemaster" is a ridiclously precise and focused no-bullshit dancefloor slayer, and so on. It really isn't hard to see why this has gained the reputation it has as one of trance's greatest DJ sets - as a manifesto (and it was rendered as such by its success) it's brilliant.
