Peterson brought it up to the other band members, and it was soon decided that Scott and his abilities would benefit Counterfist by providing a bigger, more ambient sound.
Visible on the Seattle music circuit for approximately three years, the band released their independent debut album in June of 2001. Chiral, a 10-track CD with a powerful sound written and composed collectively by the five band members was recorded at Seattle's famous Ironwood Studios. The band later released Vertical Mile in 2008 and it's most recent EP titled, "Give up the Ghost" in 2011.
