Folder5 was a short lived all-girl electropop group from Japan. Formed in 2000 after the demise of Folder, all of the girls from
Folder made up the collection of Folder5. Folder5 also appeared to have had stronger success than Folder, with both of their
original albums, "Hyper Groove 1" and "Five Girls" reaching number 5 and 6 respectively on the Oricon charts. Folder5, however,
ended up splitting in 2003, and most of the members attempted a solo career, with sales that paled in comparison to Folder5.
