The Deele is an R&B band from Cincinnati, Ohio. Formed in 1981 by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds after the split of his previous group Manchild, The
Deele had moderate success throughout the early and mid 80's, before going on a hiatus in 1988 due to the departure of Babyface and drummer L.A.
Reid. In 1993, the remaining members of The Deele reunited to record the album "An Invitation to Love", which was a major flop, and The Deele
ended up disbanding in 1994. The group temporarily reunited from 2007 through 2010, before disappearing once more. In 2016, all of the original
