ALSO is a collaborative project between Skull Disco chief Appleblim and fellow Bristol-based producer Second Storey (previously known as Al Tourettes).
The pair have been close musical allies for some time now, releasing an EP on Aus Music as Appleblim & Al Tourettes, as well as remixes for Glasstable, Ostgut Ton and Phonica. Their new project will debut on R&S Records in November, with three-tracker EP01 further exploring their shared love for fractured rhythms, heavy sub-bass and irregular melodies.
"There's so many people making sonically 'correct' or refined 4x4 music", says Laurie Osborne, AKA Appleblim. "We just wanted to explore everything other than that, whilst still keeping the dance floor moving".
