Curio is a Japanese pop/alternative rock band that first formed in 1995. Originally, the group had a flamboyant, semi-visual kei image, and also experienced some mainstream success by the end of the 90's, most significantly with their 1998 "Sweet & Bitter" album, which reached number 7 on the Oricon charts. Sales soon slipped, however, and Curio ended up disbanding by 2004. In 2012, however, Curio returned, and released "Vivid", which was their first single in over a decade.
