Hotwire was a punk/alternative rock band from California. Hotwire's members met in high school; after recording a few demos, they scored slots
opening for California dates of bands like Incubus, Linkin Park, Hoobastank, and Audiovent. They signed with RCA Records in December 2000, and
released a four-track EP in 2002 before issuing their full-length, "Routine", in the summer of 2003. They followed the release of the album with a slot
on the Ozzfest tour that year. Hotwire unfortunately ended up disbanding by 2004, reportedly due to internal tensions and bad management.
