Selling over a million copies, "Hidamari no Uta" eventually became the third best selling single of the year in Japan. Fueled by the
huge surprise success of the single, Le Couple's second mini-album, "Another Season -5 Banme no Kisetsu-", reached number 6,
and stayed in the Oricon charts for an impressive total of 16 weeks. Unfortunately, Le Couple's newly found success quickly
disintegrated, and by 2000, the duo were back to releasing uncharting singles and albums. Disappearing from the public eye in
2002, Le Couple eventually disbanded by 2007, and both Emi and Ryuji Fujita divorced that year as well. « hide |
