Man Parrish is an influential electronic artist from New York City. Originally accompanied by a band, he later dropped them by
the late 1980's and has since been a solo artist. He is perhaps best known for his 1982 single "Hip Hop Be Bop", which helped lay
the groundwork for early hip hop crossing over into electronic music, and it was also famously featured in the horror-comedy
Shaun of the Dead.
