Pilotdrift is an underground band, from Texarkana, who has been opening up for The Polyphonic Spree's "Together We're Heavy" tour.
They write very strange experimental songs with interesting indie styles mixed with crazed guitars and pianos. Think The Flaming Lips
mixed with a bit of Queen, The Beetles, and maybe even a little Radiohead. Their first album, released in 2004, was an independent
release entitled "Iter Facere". After touring with the Spree, Pilotdrift was signed to Good Records, owned by Spree frontman Tim
DeLaughter. There, Pilotdrift produced their first studio album "Water Sphere" released in 2005 which has 9 tracks, 5 being remakes
and/or re-records of "Iter Facere" songs.
