Teodasia's early days date back to 2006, with the first musical ideas crafted by the band's composer and drummer Francesco Gozzo. His
musical ideas result into the band's first demo, “Crossing the Light” recorded in 2009. Along with the manager and composer Andrea
Bezzon’s guidance and production, Teodasia starts the pre-production of their first album. It’s during this period of creativity that the band
finds its identity as a whole.
The full-length “Upwards” is released in 2012 and Teodasia get their show on the road immediately, opening for main acts such as Pino

Bezzon’s guidance and production, Teodasia starts the pre-production of their first album. It’s during this period of creativity that the band
finds its identity as a whole.
The full-length “Upwards” is released in 2012 and Teodasia get their show on the road immediately, opening for main acts such as Pino
Scotto, Alteria, Elvenking, Varg and Ministri and hitting some of the major Italian stages such as Alcatraz and New Age Club. For their single
Lost Words of Forgiveness, Teodasia frontwoman Priscilla Fiazza duets with singer Fabio Lione (Angra, Vision Divine, Labyrinth) with the
official video almost hitting 100.000 views as of today.
In Autumn 2013 Teodasia release a new EP “Reflections”: 8 tracks including some alt. version tracks from “Crossing the Light” some
passages from the “Upwards” sessions and finally a rearranged cover of a famous 90s dance hit, “Stay” of which Teodasia also shot a video.
After the release of the video "Land of memories" with Giulia on vocals, Tarja Turunen picks Teodasia to be one of the opening acts for her
European Tour, taking place between October and November 2013.
Around the same time, Teodasia start collaborating with press office E-Grapes Promotion and with fashion photographer Luca Galvagni from
Milan. The band is also endorsed by alternative fashion clothing brand Bad Spirit, famous for dressing artists such as Lacuna Coil and
Metallica. Teodasia’s tour in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland puts the band in the international hard&heavy spotlight with many
reviews and interviews on various music magazines and websites, allowing Teodasia to sell out hundreds of merch-items and reach new fans
both in the countries reached by the live shows and - due to the association with the former Nightwish star - also overseas, in South America,
where an attentive symphonic-metal community starts following the band faithfully.
During Summer 2015, Teodasia announce an important change in their line-up: the band’s new frontman is Giacomo Voli: powerful male
vocalist and tv celebrity from the talent show The Voice of Italy. A new guitarist is also joining the band: Alberto Melinato. The band, now a
quartet, works on the pre-production of new material for a new full-lenght album and releases the appetizer single “Ghosts” in September
2015 accompanied by a videoclip directed by Francesco Collinelli and featuring Italian actor Alberto Baraghini. After a professional break of
Giacomo Voli for Sanremo Giovani and Club Tenco, Teodasia jump back to the studio to record the long awaited new album,
"Metamorphosis".
After a few warm up shows testing the live strenght of the new line up and including an opening for L.A. Guns, TeodasiA release, in June
2016, the Long-EP "Reloaded", featuring three previously unreleased tracks, the new single "Rise"and a selection of singles from "Upwards"
and "Reflections" recorded with Giacomo on Vocals and Al Melinato on Guitars.
'Metamorphosis' is finally released on the 11th of October 2016 and jumps immediately at #9 in the Italian Amazon Top Charts and at #2,
right between Alterbridge and AC/DC in the Rock Charts.
"Metamorphosis" is the only album in the charts which is not released by a major label. Excellent reviews, also from the alikes of Metal
Hammer and so on are pointing at Teodasia as one of the hottest new bands on the Italian metal scene, due to the quality and the variety of
the many potential singles included in the album, the remarkably good line-up and the originality of the compositions, all written by
Francesco Gozzo.
Shortly after the release of Metamorphosis, Teodasia announce an Italian tour with Canadian Anvil. Around the same time Giacomo Voli is
also announced as the new vocalist of Rhapsody of Fire.
On November 11th, Teodasia release a lyric video for the first single "Release Yourself".
