The God were a Japanese art punk band that originally formed in 1983. The group went on to release a few singles and albums,
but ended up splitting by 1996. Today, the group continue to have a fair-sized cult following, 20 years after their initial
disbandment. In 2014, after almost two decades apart, The God suddenly announced its reunion, and have been playing
occasional gigs since.
