If you pay at least one dollar, you get all of the first six; if you pay more than the average price paid, you also get Saints Row: The Third. I paid $6.00 and got all seven games (last I checked, the average amount paid was $5.70), which is awesome, because I've never played any of them and they all look pretty damn good.
Dunno if it compares to the awesomeness of the Humble Indie Bundle V (which included Bastion, Limbo, Psychonauts, Braid, etc.), but it's still a good damn deal, so if you're even thinking about it, just do it. You only have 12 days or so (and you also need Steam).
List, by the way, is just latest album digs. |

11.30.12 | Such an amazing deal. Buying it really soon.
sucks that THQ is dead now though. |

11.30.12 | "Such an amazing deal."
It really is, man. Saints Row by itself is $40.00 on steam; everything else is around $20, and they're currently on sale. $6.00? Fuck yeah.
My computer hates me, though--it's been downloading games for the past few hours now :-P |

11.30.12 | yeah dude one of my friends told me about it - already got it
it's totally ridiculous dude |

11.30.12 | Starcraft has ruined all other rts for me.
I've played rts.
Still cool as shit big companies are starting to do stuff like this. |
demigod!
11.30.12 | Company of Heroes is great though, but yeah it's no Starcraft. |
Masochist
11.30.12 | How does it compare to Command and Conquer? |
wabbit
11.30.12 | I mean yeah it's really cool and it's nice to see that it tried to go in a completely different direction instead of the awkward starcraft-lite. But man I don't even play starcraft 2 anymore. All about the brood war. |
Chortles
11.30.12 | whatever dudes you get a bunch of games for $1, add 5 and you get saints row also so i mean |
demigod!
11.30.12 | I've only played C&C Generals (i think thats what its called) and it's honestly quite different, hard to compare them
but I think C&C is more fun tbh. |
ThunderNeutral21
11.30.12 | all those games rule except for 6, which is trash |
demigod!
11.30.12 | 6 was bad yeah, kinda fun to just fuck around in though |
wabbit
11.30.12 | starcraft is only fun once it commits to muscle memory because it's too mechanically challenging for you to think of how to play and what you want to do at the same time.
Also for fuck's sake at least put a 10er down. |
demigod!
11.30.12 | I never got into SC1's multiplayer like I did 2's, but i love the campaign, story is fantastic.
maybe I should get into it, but i dunno, everyone has been playing for sooo long i'd probably get raped. |
ThunderNeutral21
11.30.12 | lol if you play starcraft 1 online today youd get fucking assraped so hard your mother would feel it
even going into the eastern game rooms for starcraft 2 youd get fucking annihilated, these kids are nuts |
demigod!
11.30.12 | well yeah. I'm not much of a hcore multiplayer gamer anyways, only game i'm braggably good at is SFIV. I could play that game forever. |
wabbit
11.30.12 | yeah at this point you can only play on the korean servers. Any westerner is going to be good enough at the game that you would never run into one playing so no one would really be able to lend you a hand.
There are tonnes of resources that you could use to teach yourself but even then it's going to take a year of playing a lot to get remotely okay. So yeah, it's the best game ever but it's not worth it. Just watch Flash or Bisu games and be dazzled. |

11.30.12 | "only game i'm braggably good at is SFIV. I could play that game forever."
I don't have one of those. At least...not ones that are multiplayer. I'm braggably good at Super Mario World...does that count? |

11.30.12 | The humble bundle is my favorite thing ever. I even bought the eBook one. Figured out that I have 25 games (from THQ, VI, and V) and buying the bundle saved me $330. Fucking crazy, and none of them are flops really. Plus, if they stick with the normal Humble Bundle dealio, there will be some more games coming halfway through (that you get for free if you pay now). Seriously, I don't even understand how these guys do this. |

11.30.12 | Metro 2033 alone is worth getting this. |
Funeralopolis
11.30.12 | i was just about to make a list about it, yea the deal rules hard. |

11.30.12 | Bump for those who missed it last night. 12 days to go. Average price is still $5.70, so just pay at
least that to get all seven games from Steam. (And no, I won't bump it anymore). |
Masochist
11.30.12 | "Seriously, I don't even understand how these guys do this."
According to the website, there are 400,000 people who have bought, and over $2,000,000 raised for games that just weren't selling anymore at all. And the fact that you can allocate exactly where your money goes is a HUGE draw (at least for me). |
Funeralopolis
11.30.12 | nobody was going to buy the games they are selling with anyway so may as well sell em for a dollar. |
TMobotron
11.30.12 | This is an awesome package, Metro 2033 rules but SR3 is some of the most fun I've had gaming in a long time. |

11.30.12 | "It's insane how many developers are actually willing to supply their highest grossing games for the bundles, seeing as their sales must surely take a massive hit after they've appeared in one of these things."
It's like I said earlier, these games just aren't selling anymore. When was the last time you heard anyone talk about buying 'Red Faction: Armageddon'? This is probably the best thing they could do with these games--get them into the hands of people who wouldn't otherwise play them, and get those people excited for all the sequels coming out next year (Company of Heroes 2, Metro: Last Night and Saints Row IV).
Of all these games (now that they've finally downloaded onto my computer), I think I'm most excited to play Company of Heroes (being a C&C fan, gotta see how it plays).
Also, STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKES. |

11.30.12 | " I guess it could be attributed to the indie attitude of the developer rather having people experience the game and not caring as much about how much it earns"
That's what I would think. I imagine with an indie game like Bastion, the developers weren't nearly as concerned with the money it makes as much as it does getting its name out there, or getting good reviews. So including it in something like the Humble Indie Bundle is more of a PR tactic--"We're contributing, you get to try our game for dirt cheap, and maybe you'll look for more from us later." I know I'll be looking forward to anything else SuperGiant makes. |
