A Lot Like Birds
No Place
I literally cannot stop listening to this album. Its catchy, dark, disorienting and fun
all at once. Cory Lockwood is my lyrical hero. Just amazing.
2
Letlive.
The Blackest Beautiful
Emotion.
3
The Holy Guile
FSU
As a former HUGE deathcore fan, this album brought back that sound i used
to really love back in 2008. :p
4
After The Burial
Wolves Within
This came out really late in the year and I hope im not putting it here for that reason. I
feel that these guys made a point to do everything that has been trendy in the last few
years, do it their way, and do it better. Really dig this.

Dance Gavin Dance
Acceptance Speech
Long time DGD fan. Love the new material also.
6
Scale The Summit
The Migration
The perfect instrumental album. Very talented musicians.
7
Protest The Hero
Volition
I wasnt too into the last few Protest albums, but for some reason Volition really
caught me.
8
Sworn In
The Death Card
Just a really pissed off album. I loved it.
9
Like Moths To Flames
An Eye For An Eye
I didnt expect much from this album, but when it came out I really enjoyed it.
10
Northlane
Singularity
Just found out about these guys this year and they really brought me into the
whole "Djent" sound. For me its the perfect mix of metalcore and "djent"
