get the two Kayo Dot releases first, I'd suggest (in chronological order): they're both stunning.
A Perfect Circle's best is "Thirteenth Step" imo, and Riverside's "Second Life Syndrome" is quite good too, but nothing too spectacular. | willfellmarsy
