Birthday Vinyl/records/wallet-rape
Maybe a little less wallet-rape this time around. But 'a little' is still something, right? |
1 | | Artificial Brain Labyrinth Constellation
Black. Matches the colour of the wax. Lots of death, gloom, and bellowing. It's a cheery longplay, for sure! |
2 | | Self Defense Family Indoor Wind Chimes b/w Cottaging
Trans. Red.
Big-holes and adapters is 2014, eh? In every man a garbage dog, indeed! |
3 | | King Crimson In The Court of the Crimson King
Black.
Gatefold Atlantic pressing in pretty good condition. It was only six bucks too! |
4 | | Aeges Above & Down Below
Opaque Brown with translucent beer-coloured drizzle.
The Mylene Sheath page makes this look like it has the colouring of a giraffe. When I don't get my giraffe coloured vinyl, I'm a salty dog, man (kidding). More QoTSA influence riding on this longplay. It's good, but I prefer the more post-hardcore approach of The Bridge. |
5 | | Kayo Dot Coffins on Io
Black. Talk about a record to space out to. It makes grinding levels in Grandia 2 a breeze! |
6 | | Oozing Wound Earth Suck
Opaque Pink.
No YOU SUCK (Not really)! Less thrash, but plenty of smashing riffs. These gents are a Chicago treasure! |
7 | | Whirr Sway
Opaque Pinkish-Brown(Sand). |
8 | | Iron Maiden Powerslave
180 Gram master repress. The pseudo-Egyptian cover art is super hokey, but this record still slays. |
9 | | Code Orange I Am King
Opaque Green w/ Black swirl. |
10 | | Fugazi End Hits
Black.
Not sure if these bad boys got (Or even needed) the Silver Sonya studio remastering, but it definitely sounds excellent. |
