03.23.17 | Even though I'm late... really, really, REALLY late, here are some good horrorcore names that I gathered throughout the years, especially in my middle school days:
Twiztid - all of their stuff is pretty solid. Although since you know Boondox, you probably know them already. Magnum opus: "Mostasteless (Original)"
ICP - despite the hatred they get, their albums from 1991 through 2004 are still pretty damn good to listen to, although, like Twiztid, you most likely know them. Magnum opus: "Riddle Box"
Necro - basically the best horrorcore lyricist in terms of vocabulary. Kind of gets a bit redundant to listen to, but his beats are still sick for the large part. Magnum opus: "I Need Drugs"
Smallz One - probably one of the best female horrorcore rappers. One of the best neo-horrorcore acts in terms of flow, IMHO. Magnum opus: "Diary of a Black Widow"
SickTanick - similar to Necro in terms of really impressive flow and rhymes. His topic matter, like Necro once more, can be a bit redundant though. Magnum opus: "The Lament Configuration"
Insane Poetry - one of the forefathers of horrorcore. Just classic shit. Magnum opus: "Grim Reality"
Kool Keith - another huge figure in the establishment of horrorcore. He claims to be the inventor of it, although that's highly debatable. Magnum opus: "Black Elvis"
So Sick Social Club - they kind of got a big cringey lately, although cheesiness was always a part of their charm, I guess. Magnum opus: self-titled EP.
Mars - one of the most controversial names in neo-horrorcore. Supposedly inspired a few murders and whatnot. Magnum opus: "Mars Attacks"
Richard Gein - really, really corny and his voice is kind of amusing, but some of his beats are pretty damn good and some of his tracks aren't bad, especially his earlier stuff. Magnum opus: "Creatures of the Night"
King Gordy - respected artist in the underground rap scene and especially in the horrorcore circuit, despite his departure from the scene in 2010. Magnum opus: "Cobain's Diary"
G-Mo Skee: absolutely one of the most talented rappers to emerge from the neo-horrorcore scene. Magnum opus: "My Filthy Spirit Bomb"
Lil 1/2 Dead: one of the precursors of horrorcore, had the persona of a dead gangster. Basically the original Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and has come under controversy for his reported involvement in the murder of Tupac. Magnum opus: "The Dead Has Arisen" | Typhoon24
