05.10.16 | Yeah I was looking at the H1 for a while but ended getting a tascam dp-006 because it was on sale with similar specs. I use reaper to mix everything with a wall of sound plug in from two notes.
Wow I really love maudlin but didn't make the connection of styles until now, good looking out! Going to put bath on now! haha
Dude how in the hell do you make drone/ambient pieces so interesting? I feel like I have to continuously add things to make my music more interesting to me, but then again that could just be my attention span. |

05.10.16 | Enjoyed "Stray", figure! I look forward to hearing the rest.
I'm stilling working on building a home set-up. I'm working with a low-level Cubase software, an M-Audio Fast Track, and a pair of no-name condenser mics for recording/mixing right now. I'm not all that happy with the results I'm getting though. Kinda wishing I'd done a little more research before buying. |

05.10.16 | Thank you for listening!
Yeah I was in a similar spot. My current setup cost about 200, 250 with tax and cables included. A decent-good setup doesn't have to be super expensive! |

05.10.16 | ^Excellent advice right here. Thanks, OvDeath. Really enjoy Only the Youngest Grave, by the way. It hits hard when I'm in the right headspace. I'm glad the record has been so well-received. |

05.10.16 | yeah man Ov course! As for "Stray" I felt the title fit perfectly for what the song was, a loose structure with a bit of a lonely wandering feel. I have other songs that are more structured but those are honestly more rare. I tend to write more in the lines of a novel than a sonnet if you will.
What's your writing process typically like guys? |
