Hello again

Last time I made a list it was when I first moved into (my very own! ) apartment It was exciting but grew to be incredibly lonesome and even a little depressing. Now, no more than near 3 months later, I moved in with a girl and while things didnt turn out working on a romantic level, they are definitely working well on a friendship level. You can say hah! You fool! You have been friendzoned! Yet after the dissolution of two incredibly close friendships months back and experiencing in my life a true disconnect from any social connection outside of work, it feels pretty goddamn nice to have someone whom I can vent about my own tragic misgivings to (and to watch anime with, ofc). On a more lighthearted note everyone plx jam Helcaraxe or else I will insert a DS stylus into your urethra. I love you all.

Red Dragon

Middle Earth melodic death metal. Somewhat reminiscent of early Amon Amarth but I daresay with even cooler guitar work and a couple gorgeous acoustic passages. This and Last Battle are undoubtedly my favorite melodic dm discoveries of the year.

...and so we destroyed everything

Oml is this pretty. Like being aloft in gently rolling clouds overlooking a fantastical earth beneath. Good post rock/progressive rock.

Death Touches Us, From The Moment We Begin To Love

This hits harder and harder every goddamn time I hear it. It represents the catharsis of love and the pain of its dissolution so incredibly well. Jam for a good cry session or to poke fun at us emo scenie weenies.

Teenage Haze
