07.05.21 | pretty fair i'd say. its definitely the personal touches that help me with the last two albums. |

07.05.21 | probably the most important band of my teenage years after the clash. Never did get around to their latest (which you've ranked 2nd!).
I don't want to say their LPs have gotten progressively worse, only that my connection with them seemed to weaken with each one. |

07.05.21 | i can see how that makes sense, for me its gotten stronger ever since coming out ^-^ |

07.05.21 | 1 is 1 for sure, probably one of the most necessary albums for any young punk fan today to hear
Their first 2 have their charms to be sure, although to my ears it's always sounded like Laura's still coming into her own as a lyricist and songwriter- clearly talented, but young enough that she just hadn't really refined her craft yet. Based on the scattered songs I've heard from their post-ATEC, pre-TDB albums, I suspect I'd like them more than most. |

07.05.21 | ^^White Crosses particularly is damn underrated. It’s not at the same songwriting level as TDB, but it’s still pretty sharp and stylistically similar. How big the reception gap is between the two got me stumped |
Kompys2000
07.05.21 | TDB had the better story. White crosses was a once-underground darling on the tail end of a failed bid for a mainstream crossover, TDB was a gifted songwriter documenting a tumultuous period of very visible personal growth, and a possible bellwether for increased visibility for trans people in punk overall. Not saying it's not a great album, but I doubt it would have succeeded the way it did if it wasn't so headline-ready yanno |

07.05.21 | i think for me white crosses just didnt click, it felt rlly lifeless in comparison to everything else |

07.06.21 | Crime as Forgiven by and the self-titled acoustic EP are the absolute best things this band has ever done |
veninblazer
07.06.21 | Mmm, as for EPs the most I know is that The Disco Before the Breakdown rules. |
