Pitchfork Music Festival

This past summer I got the chance to go to Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Fucking amazing. Here is a list of 10 of my favorite performances of the weekend. Kinda sorta in order.
1 The Flaming Lips
Album

Their set was basically a huge ass party. If you haven't seen them live and get a chance to, I HIGHLY recommend it.
2 DJ/Rupture
Album

There was this kid dancing all alone behind the sound tent. Everyone was staring at him him for the longest while until someone else jumped in. More and more came until it was a dance party.
here's a video of it: pt1: ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJcaUgSnSoA

3 M83
Album

Really good set. Awesome band.
4 Frightened Rabbit
Album

I had never heard of these guys before pitchfork. I liked their name so I went over to their stage when it was their turn to play. I was blown out of the water. Definitely the band I've listened to most since pitchfork.
5 Mew
Album

Loved em' before pitchfork. Really good set, good sound, good vibes.
6 Final Fantasy
Album

Owen Pallett's band. He can do really, REALLY amazing things with a violin and loop station. If you haven't heard him I highly recommend you give him a listen. It's different, but well worth it.
7 Grizzly Bear
Album

Good set.
8 The Thermals
Album
9 Japandroids
Album
10 Cymbals Eat Guitars
