| Pitchfork Music Festival
This past summer I got the chance to go to Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Fucking amazing. Here is a list of 10 of my favorite performances of the weekend. Kinda sorta in order. | | 1 | | The Flaming Lips

There was this kid dancing all alone behind the sound tent. Everyone was staring at him him for the longest while until someone else jumped in. More and more came until it was a dance party.

I had never heard of these guys before pitchfork. I liked their name so I went over to their stage when it was their turn to play. I was blown out of the water. Definitely the band I've listened to most since pitchfork. | | 5 | | Mew

I had such a great time, although I'm kind of upset that I didn't see Built To Spill, Jesus Lizard and Yo La Tengo Friday night, would have been awesome. oh well | scotish
