The Kids Are All Right

...was good stuff. I feel like they could've done a little more with the ending, but overall, a really solid effort (especially from Annette Bening and Mark Ruffalo).
1Anathema
We're Here Because We're Here

Really, really great album. Grows on me with every listen. I was concerned about the (relatively) large gap between their last new material and this, but they haven't lost a step (and have arguably gained a few).
2For You, The World
For You

An excellent EP from a local band that was entirely too short-lived. Saw them play their last show a little over a week ago, and hadn't heard of them before that. It was amazing. I also got the EP for free, which was also great.
3Julian Casablancas
Phrazes for the Young

Never got too into the Strokes past Is This It, but I found this for $5 at a bookstore (after seeing it for twice that at Best Buy a few days prior), so I decided to give it spin. I'm liking it.
4 The Rescues
Let Loose the Horses

On the other hand, Best Buy does have this for 8 bucks...has anybody given it a listen yet?
5Neon Indian
Psychic Chasms

Keep hearing this name out there. The iTunes samples sound...interesting. Worth a shot?
