05.31.23 | Besides 14 and 15, I genuinely enjoy all their work a lot. |
BigPleb
05.31.23 | Awake being at 11 is crazy. |
AlexKzillion
05.31.23 | anything being ranked below the astonishing is a crime |

05.31.23 | Yaaaas queen 2 slaps |

05.31.23 | First three albums are their best |
JohnnyoftheWell
05.31.23 | Awake is 1 and it's debatable whether any of the others matters
in a world where Awake didn't exist, the top 3 would be accurate (and probably in the correct order) but jfc that placement invalidates this entire list and website |
FrozenFirebug
05.31.23 | 1. the nu metal ones
2. the other ones

05.31.23 | The love for Awake is not surprising in the least bit because it is an excellent record. |
JDubb
05.31.23 | Move 12 up, and 1 and 3 further back (towards the back, after “A View…”), and we are pretty close |

05.31.23 | wdadu always gets placed last in these lists and never deserves it. I swear I've been defending that album for like 10 years on this site lol |
mkmusic1995
05.31.23 | wdadu isn't bad but it kind of pales in comparison to later work for me personally. |
Avagantamos
05.31.23 | weird to think this was my favorite band when I signed up for sputnikmusic dot com. train of thought goes hard |
Koris
05.31.23 | wdadu is fine, but it's definitely in second-to-last place for me (pretty sure The Astonishing will always occupy that last spot)
Anyway, 1 is 1 and that makes me happy |
wojodta
05.31.23 | nice to see 4 get some love. never hear people talk about that album, but it's very solid beginning to end. |
mkmusic1995
05.31.23 | 4 was my introduction to the band so it holds a special place in my heart. |
TronaldDump
05.31.23 | I never understood why Awake is so hit or miss with some DT fans. It's one of the most consistent, trim around the fat, solid from start-to-finish albums they've ever crafted. |
DaveyMonsoon
06.01.23 | This is certainly an interesting ranking, I'll give it that. You didn't have to do Awake dirty like that though. |
Brabiz
06.01.23 | The Astonishing would be in my top 5 and I’m not sorry |
mkmusic1995
06.04.23 | Like I said before, Awake is a very solid record. Definitely enjoy it very much but I just find the other albums to be more my cup of tea. And Brabiz, I really wanted to like The Astonishing and there's a lot of elements I enjoy quite a bit but for me, that runtime is just absurd for the quality of the music and the concept isn't interesting enough to justify it. But that's me. |
Brock619
06.07.23 | Metropolis is hands down the best prog album of the 90s |
90m80s
06.07.23 | saw DT live when Portnoy was in the band. was good performance. |
Meborphus
06.07.23 | Agree on Metropolis, Brock ^
Honestly just happy to see Six Degrees represented in the top 5 - would be my number 3. |

06.07.23 | seeing them live next month, so hyped honestly i don't even care if labrie can hardly sing the old stuff anymore |
