Trees Of Eternity, Agalloch, now Eluveitie... Such a sad year.

Slipknot were surprisingly drama free for most of their career despite having nine members.

Sucks yeah But they had a pretty good run anyway. They probably needed a break....

Not great, although both sides of this are going to continue making music. Chrigel can probably pull it off without them but it's going to be difficult, especially without Anna.

She's got a solo project that's pretty cool though.

Really don't care much about the drummer ( Though he was good) or Ivo . Anna is a big loss IMO

Pretty much clicked the article to see whether Anna was one of the 3 or not...

She was a great vocalist (and hurdy gurdy-ist?). The band was already on a downward slope with the last one so this might just be the nail in the coffin for them..

They'll probably just find another random chick to sing for them, but it won't be the same.

Probably will yeah, but Anna was prolly the most beloved member of Eluveitie. Spirit sure was an awesome album though, their best imo. I believe they're able to continue.

But as said, their new project with her will be interesting anyway.

Are you kidding? Origins was superb.

To be fair, I never listened to the whole thing but the songs I heard sounded like they were going soft and losing that passion that made them stand out

Slania and Spirit were the best albums yeah, but overall they still were very consistent.

Only one I can think of like that is Call of the Mountain but that's just a typical Anna sounding track tbh. I still dig it.
