Yeeeeeeeessss ugh such an amazing year of music.
This is awesome, love the grittiness.

Sweeeeeeeet
| |
dark and heavy for sure
| |
Freaking yes.
| |
Badass. Definitely hearing Kurt's influence
| |
Not super impressed by this track but still stoked for this record
| |
Solid song, looking forward to the new album.
| |
Sounds like Deficit, which is my favourite song by them. I hope this is the direction of the album. Can't wait.
| |
hm ok song I guess. still hyped for the album tho
| |
pretty simple and straightforward and repetitive ! a typical post rock song with every possible cliché
| |
This is what I want them to sound like
| |
"a typical post rock song with every possible cliché"
Phew. That's a relief. I thought this was psychedelic pop punk with no clichés at all.
Anyway, can never judge a Circles album by one song. Sounds like the previous track blends into it, and it obviously blends into the next one.
| |
Definitely want to check this out.
I still remember the first time I saw them live, they were amazing. I didn't know who they were, but they opened up for BTBAM and Coheed. They blew me away. And the bass tone was super sexy.
| |
kurt ballou's production discography is ridic. how does that man do it?
| |
this is great. we get new russian circles and if these trees could talk this year
| |
"pretty simple and straightforward and repetitive ! a typical post rock song with every possible cliché "
Please show me other bands that sound like this then, because I have an enormous library of post-rock music and none of it sounds like post-Empros Russian Circles.
| |
really like the production, bass tone and drumming is so good. sinister riffs
| |
Excited.
| |
Sweet.
| |
Pretty standard song for these guys
| |
oh fuck yes, this band is awesome. As for this sounding like every other post rock song... lol yeah okay. This is one of the only bands in the genre who actually does something unique these days. Every other band sounds like anything Explosions in the Sky did over and over up until The Wilderness came out this year.
Song is SINISTER AS FUCK.
| |
this is a lot more metal than post-rock dudes
| |
Good song, sure the record will be good as well
| |
awesome
| |
A bit simple, but the sound is good.
| |
Sounds kickass. Normally kinda indifferent to these guys but I'm looking forward to this now.
| |
It's both decent and at the same time boring just like 90% of the stuff they have made over the years.
| |
THIS IS BEING PRODUCED BY KURT BALLOU? I'm so down with that holy shit.
| |
Yeah, I hope Sargent House artists recording at God City becomes a regular thing.
Kurt doing Chelsea Wolfe's next album would be so sick.
| |
I'm not down with that
| |
I'm thrilled to see them working with Kurt but the song doesn't have much traction in the first half. It does regain some momentum towards the end however... Definitely low-fi, I like it.
| |
Noice

Rules.

Like Russian circle but this was pretty run of the mill
| |
I run a mill that was offensive
| |
Way to be against the grain
