Who cares as long as he does it in such a genuine way? I think it's exactly the point behind it. He is not talking about teenagerlife for teenagers from their perspective, but about thinking back to it as an adult and imo that feeling gets conveyed quite successfully.

That makes things even better. I always assumed his lyrics were written from the perspective of his 20 year old self.

Their songs sounding samey was already my biggest critizism for the last record but it makes up for it in the way its delivered to you.

This is The Things We Do... minus the magic. I listen to this and it's good but I feel nothing.

I rarely say this about any band, but it seriously feels likes every one of these guys' songs are the same thing.

Have to agree with ashcrash on this. First two EPs were fun but now it's becoming recycled.

Yeah I tried to be objective in the news article but man this sounds really 'samey' to everything they've done so far. The EPs were fun, the first album was a little adventure, but this is the exact same thing for an additional half hour. I think they have the talent to do more, I just want to see them actually do it.
