Phantoms is a great album

However, this just sounds waaay too contemporary. And that Instagram/iOS-esque music video does not help

I loved these guys in high school. Take Cover is a jam.

Not bad, but agreed that it's pretty bland. Phantoms was never a ground breaking album, but it had just the right balance of energy and catchiness that made it work. Hopefully this new album strikes a similar balance.
