nergal, ... thank u
| |
This is rad.
| |
Getting some nick cave vibes from this, not bad.
| |
You can always count on Nergal to bring the bewbs
| |
it's like satanic johnny cash
| |
Honestly first thing I thought of was MM's latest. Not a bad thing cause I like both. Strong True Detective S1 vibes.
| |
Those vocals tho :/
| |
Interested to hear this after work.
| |
Strong True Detective S1 vibes [2]
| |
His cleans are strange yeah....
| |
i like behemoth but nergal is douche
| |
Why's that
| |
[I don't even know what to say about this.]
| |
I think he's one of the most interesting figures in metal. He's incredibly articulate and seems honest and true to his convictions. He can come across as arrogant at times, but I always enjoy watching interviews with him. Seems like an okay guy.
| |
Wasn't expecting that at all.
Cool track tho, very primal.
| |
Dug this more than I thought I would.
| |
better than David Vincent's pathetic and short-lived career as a country musician.
| |
So, uh, this actually rules.
| |
Yo that was tight
| |
Interesting, video clip was strange too
| |
Can't get into those vocals
| |
I'm into that. Not sure about the snide intro though.
| |
Madrugada fan spotted right........HERE!
| |
other than the lame intro..good song
| |
Kinda cool.
| |
sounds like King Dude with worse vox
| |
didnt expect that setting. song was cool i guess
| |
Pretty decent.
| |
This is fucking weird
| |
I had to listen to it again because I liked it so much. I don't give a fuck about Behemoth at all, but I could get into this.
| |
This is fucking awesome.
| |
Which metal musician turned country rocker does it better? Nergal or Danny Worsnop?
| |
or Devin Townsend?
| |
that was something alright
also nergal still got that bigass forehead
| |
Devy's never done straight up country to be fair. Casualties of Cool was like ambient with a bit of country thrown in
| |
datsnotdacuntry
| |
Where ma country gone?
| |
I thought the same thing about the True Detective vibes.
| |
He just sounds like a shitty Cohen wannabe for the intro and then it gets good.
| |
Not feeling it. Not bad but not very good.
| |
Yeah, the vocals are pretty weak. Dude is not a singer.
| |
Vocals rule. Cash + Cave. Song isn't very original, but it is good.
| |
i love the idea of gothic country but havent found many bands that do it well. this would be cool but Nergal's vocals dont sound right.
| |
I think they fit well. You heard Nick 13's country album 5 years ago?
| |
Sounds nothing like Cash or Cave
| |
While this is fairly interesting, I don't see country as being the appropriate medium for this kind of topic/message. The metal community is more likely to embrace such an ideology, whereas the typical country music listener will hear the lyrics and put it down at once.
| |
'Sounds nothing like Cash or Cave'
Lol okay.
| |
Stylistically, yeah, it's probably influenced by them, but vocally it's completely unlike them
| |
I don't know. I hear a good Cash impression by Cave through Negral, but that's just me.
| |
I know most of Behemoth is in english, but I feel like this would be better if it wasn't in english.
| |
snox once again proving how smart he is
| |
I mean hey if someone hear's a Cave OR Cash in his vocals then I can't stop you from hearing that, but to me it's pretty clearly unlike both of those vocally. Not that it's a bad thing, Nergal just doesn't have the vocals that match their very baritone and unique styles. It's obvious he's trying to make his voice sound lower than it actually is.
I don't know how anywhere here I made a dumb statement, this isn't really a big deal
| |
weird but i dig it
| |
hey as long as we're talking about nergal can somebody tell me what was up with him being on poland's the voice? like was he weird and metal and shit or was he just like any coach or judge or whatever on any other singing show? i'd look it up myself but dont feel like tracking down old eps just for that
