good song but pretty much par for the course for circa
| |
Haven't kept up with these guys since Blue Sky Noise
| |
Circa is a great 3.5-4/5 band, so I'm expecting as much here.
| |
This track doesn't hit me as immediately as "Schema" did off their last record, but Circa have been no stranger to growers, so I'll listen to it a few more times.
It does kinda have a Blue Sky Noise meets On Letting Go sound though, imo.
| |
yeah, Circa are one of those reliably decent bands. This should be a solid release
| |
song sounds good. record will come out, ill play on repeat for a month and never listen to again
| |
Song is cool. I feel like it needed a bigger chorus or some sort of grand climax though. First minute or so had me thinking this was going to be the band's best work to date, so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad let down. Still great stuff though. I still hope this band has another BSN level album in them so my expectations are probably a little high, but their past 2 albums were still super solid (Violent Waves held up much better) so at the very least, I'm sure this will be a good release
| |
Song is typically great, and the album cover is incredible as well.
| |
Heard this just listening to random songs on youtube today, didn't realize it was a new single. Song is great, as everyone else said, typical circa
| |
It may sound a bit dumb, but listening to it with a good pair of earphones might do the trick for the ones that haven't really liked it so far, because the production is top notch.
| |
Decent song.
| |
It's kind of got the spacey feel of a lot of songs on Violent Waves mixed with the production of Blue Sky Noise. Can't wait to see them with AFI in August. Still pretty insane that my two favorite bands are touring together.
| |
After that incredibly disappointing Saosin album it's good he went back to this. Can't believe I waited like 12 years to hear an Anthony Green Saosin LP and it was as bad as it was.
| |
^ yeah that saosin album was quite the let down. Where the f were the riffs??
| |
^ Are you guys for real? It's no classic but it's still a solid 4. And it had plenty of good riffs!
| |
not a chode-hair-curling release, but solid nonetheless. September is looking to be a good month
| |
Pretty sweet. I expect it will be well done like all their other albums.
| |
Fuuuuuuuuuck ya
| |
great song
| |
Verses are awesome, chorus is super lame
| |
I don't know I think the song is decent. However, it just gets boring after a while.
| |
I like the production but I much prefer the energetic Anthony Green vocals to the melancholy approach that he does on tracks like this.
| |
Pretty cool song, but I feel like it needed a bigger and better climax.
| |
I'm pretty into it, Anthony sounds nice here, I liked his reserved approach to this one
| |
Cool song
| |
Yeah, that Saosin album was such a letdown. It felt like a Circa album. But in a bad way.
This though I don't mind. I've not been a huge fan of their releases since BSN, but I like this quite a bit.
| |
Yeah good intro and outro, middle is okay. Not as excited here as I was when Schema was released
| |
record will come out, ill play on repeat for a month and never listen to again [2]
| |
Yo that saosin album was tops.
This is cool, that artwork is sex.
| |
I haven't been excited about a circa single since get out
| |
'Yo that saosin album was tops.'
I might 1 that album.
| |
Saosin album sound like circa drmos before the interesting parts are added
| |
track is good, i'm pumped for the album. Circa never really disappointing (I don't consider violent waves bad)
| |
Never been a Circa fan but this track was cool. Might be checking this album out hmm
| |
They just put out another and it's on another level for them.
| |
Why does this artwork look like Juturna?
| |
Yeah, that new song knocked it out of the park, sooo good.
| |
New song is another reminder Circa is heading towards a typical post-rock band sound. I don't feel that Circa magic from the new songs and Descensus. Vocals are mixed too high on the newest one too
| |
Burn. I need to check it. But that sounds lame.
