loved this
| |
Wasn't bad but it was boring.
| |
no, I'll start it off with Rosenstock
| |
Maynard and Josh Homme, founders of the North American Douche Society of Musical Douchery
| |
Great song! I did think the piano does get a bit sparse and thin in the middle and my attention faltered but the ends of the song are stellar. I want a release date tho!
| |
Still not very impressed but it’s definitely an improvement
| |
I kinda want to see Maynard do more piano based stuff. It's by far the best part of this song imo.
| |
New Tool still coming 2020.
| |
No, Maynard promised.
| |
She must be hot.
| |
Love Maynard's vocal work, as usual, but the "put down yer phone" sentiment is pretty meh.
| |
Great song
| |
Digging this for sure!
| |
this sounds like early 90s Depeche Mode fucked mid 2000s Linkin Park.
I don't know if that's good or bad, but that's what I got.
| |
I wonder if they chose yellow for the single cover to match all the cheese
| |
Goddamn, that was boring as hell.
| |
Not sure what to think about this but "disillusion" is a good way to describe it.
| |
love it more than the first single, doesn't sound like APC though, neither songs have really
| |
Aww that's a cute song.
| |
The music's alright, but has none of the signature brilliance of Perfect Circle past. Also, for a band that had such poignant and effectual lyrics on the first time lyrics, it's kind of lame that this song is literally just about Maynard's fear of technology in the most oldmannish way possible.
Reminds me of my Manowar-listening uncle screaming at me and my cousins growing up playing video games together, "YOU'RE FUCKING SCREENHEADS, STARING AT THE SCREENS ALL DAY" before going out to the garage to get drunk and listen to Twisted Sister whilst working on his car all day every day, only to come in and ignore his family, eat dinner and go to bed. Rinse/repeat.
| |
it's nice to hear Maynard again but both songs have been pretty average
| |
this is the best of the two
| |
Far better than the last one
| |
Damn this does sound like newer Linkin Park
| |
Why on earth would i want to do that
| |
What's up fellow adults?
| |
"Love Maynard's vocal work, as usual, but the "put down yer phone" sentiment is pretty meh."
Not like this song was going to be timeless, but a lyric like that ruined any potential for it.
| |
These songs they've released so far sound oddly experimental for the band. Lots of shifts in mood and tone across a single song, but I really dig it, especially this track.
| |
Last song had fantastic lyrics but the instrumentation was hot and cold for me. This one is the other way around for me.
| |
You kids and your smart phones!
| |
This APC sound is way better than the old "Tool-knockoff with Nu-metal nuances" sound.
| |
That is the least accurate description of APC that I’ve ever read.
| |
It was a solid tune but the whole time it was playing I felt like it was building towards something until it just ended without ever really going anywhere.
It's a pretty song and all but feels like something is missing.
| |
"That is the least accurate description of APC that I’ve ever read."
eh, tomato tamato
| |
I pretty much feel the same as SgtShock. Instrumentation on this song is so good.

Dumbest thing I've read in awhile

Looks like it’s gonna be a Q2 2018 release

Still love this track.

| |
