Riot's the proof that old school metal bands can still produce good stuff

Which imo is a shoutout to bands like Priest or thrash's big 4 as it leaves them without an excuse for the crap they've been creating on the last years

Except that Anthrax released great albums in the last couple of years

they're ok I suppose. Quite better than what the other bands have released

I don't know why they felt the need to re-record Thundersteel though, you can't improve perfection so why bother?

Sweet stuff. To be fair it's kinda unfair to compare this era of Riot with other long running bands, because these guys managed to find like one of the best voices in metal so it's no wonder that they sound so fresh and young

Speranza is their best vocalist for me
