I liked it. Better than anything off their last 2 albums. Has a nice JEW vibe to it.

The band has degraded over their career from promising melodic hardcore emo punk to milk toast alt rock. This new single further convinces me of that shift in direction.

Don't get the hate this band gets for changing directions. They continue to put out great album after great album.

Some people talk about this band like they were the second coming of Defeater's Travels and tbh I never saw this. They're doing their thing and it works for them.

This is definitely dope. I've enjoyed every album that this band has released, and if this single is any indicator of quality, then I'll likely enjoy this a bit too. I doubt it will ever top the masterpiece of an album that is Colourmeinkindness though.

It's solid. Seems like they're heading into a Jimmy Eat World kind of direction. Which isn't a bad direction, but I like their more aggressive, punk and grunge influenced stuff.

they got progressively worse. Colourmeinkindness was still good, Promise Everything was bland.

yeah I was pretty bummed there were no fast songs like yoke or earl grey on cmik but the alb is still good and it was cool to see them get all the recognition
